The Corporation for National and Community Service reported, “Research demonstrates that volunteering leads to better health and that older volunteers are the most likely to receive physical and mental health benefits from their volunteer activities.”
It’s easier than ever to find an organization to volunteer with. Cheyenne Chamber has a great list of volunteer opportunities and ServeWyoming.org has a comprehensive list that quickly tells you who they need and the requirements each organization has for their volunteers.
